Flow Analysis

Entuity NetFlow Analyzer Enterprise Edition

Do your critical applications have sufficient bandwidth? Or does YouTube?
Do you know who is on your network and what they are doing?

With Entuity’s NetFlow Analyzer Enterprise Edition (NFA EE) you can quickly figure out where network performance is being impacted; by user, by protocol, by application, by source or destination. Network planning for build-outs is simplified as you can now establish a performance baseline to understand where bandwidth bottlenecks occur and address them with new capacity. Now you can detect immediately if it really is an application or actually YouTube affecting your network performance and reduce the number of steps to solve the problem.

While the EYE of the Storm network management suite includes a lightweight Integrated Flow Analyzer suitable for troubleshooting specific traffic related issues across a small number of interfaces, some organizations may require a more robust, full-featured flow analysis solution. Entuity NetFlow Analyzer Enterprise Edition is a scalable, easy to use flow monitoring and traffic analysis solution that can be deployed to meet the requirements of either centralized or fully distributed environments. As a standards-based solution, NFA EE processes and provides reporting for NetFlow, NSEL, sFlow, jFlow andIPFIXflow data from switches, firewalls and routers. To support historical reporting and assist you with establishing network performance baselines, NFA EE can store information on every flow for 30 days and consolidated information indefinitely.

NetFlow Analyzer Architecture

NFA EE can scale from a single flow source to support 1,000s of flow sources while still providing unparalleled insight into traffic trends and patterns on your network. With heterogeneous device and extensive flow technology support, NFA EE provides unequalled visibility and information into your network and what may be threatening or impacting your business.

Key Flow Monitoring Use Cases

Faster Troubleshooting
Real-time visibility into top applications, talkers and conversations

  • Determine unusual traffic patterns for interfaces or for a business entity

Traffic Trending
View traffic data on a summary level or drill-down to specific ports, individual systems or users

  • Understand how traffic is impacted by new applications or network changes and compare against historical baselines
