ENTUITY, INC. TO PRESENT AT THE AFCOM 2003 FALL CONFERENCE AND IS EXPO
NEW YORK, NY August 20, 2003 Entuity, Inc., a leading infrastructure
management software company, today announced that Howard
Samuels, a project lead in Entuity's pre-sales engineering
group, will speak on managing network change in complex
IT environments at the AFCOM 2003 Fall Conference and
IS Expo at the Hyatt Regency Dallas in Dallas, TX on
Tuesday, September 16, 2003 at 4:15 p.m. in Cumberland
D and on Wednesday, September 17, 2003 at 8:00 a.m.
in Cumberland C.
Mr. Samuels' session will discuss
automatic discovery of the relationship between assets
in a network, the mapping of these assets and today's
new tracking methods that monitor changes in the network
and show how to use today's new breed of software to
get a more holistic view into distributed networks.
New methods used by some of the world's leading enterprises
to manage change throughout the entire environment will
be explored as well as one of IT's most important areas
- unrecognized cost-reduction opportunities so that
businesses can see a best practices approach eliminate
and repurpose underused assets. In summary, attendees
will learn how to identity and optimize network assets,
determine the interdependencies of assets within the
network, and accelerate troubleshooting to avoid and
minimize service outages.
Mr. Samuels has more than 10
years of experience in the computer software industry
and is well versed in providing infrastructure solutions
to service providers, channel partners, outsourcers
and enterprises. At Entuity, he has been instrumental
in designing, configuring and implementing infrastructure
solutions for many of Entuity's leading enterprise customers.
Prior to joining Entuity, Howard was with Riversoft
Corporation in the role of pre-sales engineer. He has
also held positions within the network distributed systems'
administration area at Solomon, Smith Barney.
