Versatile Reporting For A Variety of Needs
Network Management Reports
Network management reports provide one of the single greatest benefit of Eye of the Storm. EYE quickly generates reports from intelligent queries that specify the required data and how it should be presented. The reporting engine uses XML and XSLT techniques to manipulate the data and delivers the resulting reports via the Web Server in PDF, HTML, CSV (delimited ASCII) and XML formats. EYE has a broad range of reporting solutions to help with all your reporting, data analysis, and integration needs:
Eye of the Storm Essential Reports
Essential Reports are predefined, analytic reports that leverage the extensive network inventory, complete with identifiers such as location, version numbers, model numbers and serial numbers; and performance, availability and resource utilization statistics. The identifiers enhance the management of maintenance contracts; simplify change tracking; and identify old versions of software that need to be updated. Essential - and Flex - reports have hyperlinks that can be used to drill down for additional detail and can be scheduled or generated on demand. The data management kernel packages data sets for these reports in industry standard XML files. The XML files can be passed to the EYE reporting engine for presentation or passed to other external reporting packages that accept XML files. The EYE reporting engine leverages industry standard XSLT processing techniques, which provide flexible control over the presentation of the report data. Example Essential Reports
Eye of the Storm Flex Reports
Flex Reports enable users to interact with the data management kernel via a web interface to create new reports on the fly. This new reporting functionality combines full access to the rich variety of stored data with an extensive variety of presentation styles. EYE COM API - Extensible to meet user needs
One of Entuity's key objectives is the provision of flexible infrastructure management solutions. Extensibility and integration are key components of that objective. Eye of the Storm is built using a configurable architecture. The EYE's architecture allows you to access management data kernel or extend Eye of the Storm functionality with comparative ease. Access Eye of the Storm Data using your own InterfaceEYE's COM API allows you to incorporate real-time infrastructure data into web pages, documents and spreadsheets. You can design interfaces and methods of presentation that suit each viewer. For example, an outsourcer can design and make available from their extranet dashboard's that provide both a real-time and historical look at a client's network.
